DO you have a burning desire for football and would like to comment on the upcoming UEFA European Football Championship (Euro 2012) matches? Let your comments be heard and stand a chance to win up to RM10,000 cash on Ntv7’s Be A Fan contest.

Participants must attend the final audition tomorrow and on Sunday at East Coast Mall, Putra Square, Kuantan in Pahang, from 10am to 10pm.

Thirty shortlisted participants will be called for another round of closed door casting at Sri Pentas, Bandar Utama in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, with 16 moving on to battle it out in the next stage. The talents will act as commentators during live matches, and snippets will also be aired on Ntv7 (10.30pm), after the delayed telecast of the match at 8.30pm.

The chosen 16 participants will each represent and comment on a country, for a total of 31 matches. Videos featuring their commentating prowess will be uploaded on the official website of Be A Fan contest and will be open to the public for voting.

The top eight with the most votes will advance to the next stage and continue their quest to be the commentators for the quarter-final matches. Four will make the cut for the semi-finals and this will be narrowed down to two finalists for the final match.

The winner will walk away with RM10,000 while the first runner-up will receive RM3,000. The third and fourth runners-up will receive RM1,000 each.

Live and delayed telecast of the matches will be aired on TV3 and Ntv7 from June 8. TV3 will air the live matches while Ntv7 will feature delayed telecasts daily (8.30pm to 10.30pm).
