Salon offers oxygen chamber treatment 

Inspired by the latest trend in Japan, the owners of the Fabulous Hairline Studio in Taman Tun Dr Ismail (TTDI) were convinced to get the Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Chamber (HBOT) for their salon.

The machine is the latest breakthrough in total body wellness, where pure oxygen is compressed into micro-molecules, which are then absorbed by the entire body as dissolved oxygen.

Salon partner Eric Siow said having hyperbaric chambers in a salon was a trend in Japan and it provided a wellness experience for customers. Actress Charlene Meng taking a peek into the hyperbaric oxygen chamber.

“It has many benefits such as improving blood circulation and encourage good hair growth and skin.

“That is why we decided to have one here as an added service for our customers,” he said.

The chamber treatment is usually for 60 minutes per session and cost RM180. Two people can sit in the chamber at one time. The one-hour session helps to strengthen hair and hasten restoration of natural hair glow.
