Man Shot Dead Outside Son’s School
PETALING JAYA : A well-orchestrated attack, motivated by what police believe to be vengeance, saw a grocery shop proprietor gunned down outside his son’s school in Seri Kembangan near here Friday.
The 32-year-old victim was waiting outside the Sekolah Kebangsaan Taman Sungai Besi Indah for his wife to send their eight-year-old son to the school when two men on a motorcycle approached him.
Wearing full-faced crash helmets, the duo drew out their pistols and fired a shot each at the man at close range, hitting him in the chest and shoulder in the incident about 7.30am. The victim collapsed on the ground before his wife sent him to the Serdang Hospital where he died about 9am.
Serdang police chief Supt Abd Razak Elias said initial investigations revealed the gunmen were astride a red Yamaha LC motorcycle and used semi-automatic pistols in the attack.
