Envitech awarded contracts worth RM15 mil

Kuala Lumpur, Feb 4: Envitech Sdn Bhd has been awarded a RM11.72 million contract by Sime Darby Elmina Development Sdn Bhd for the design, construction and commissioning of the first module of the 65,000 population equivalent (PE) sewage treatment plant and pumping station in Shah Alam, Selangor.

Envitech, is a 60 per cent owned subsidiary of Salcon Engineering Bhd, which in turn is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Salcon Bhd.

In a filing to Bursa Malaysia today, Salcon said the contract was for 65 weeks from Feb 12-May 13, 2013.

“Envitech has also been awarded a RM3.62 million contract by ST Partners Sdn Bhd for a period of 12 months commencing Jan 12, 2013 to Jan 20, 2014.

“The contract includes the design, construction, testing, and commissioning, completion and handover of a sludge sewage treatment plant on part of the centralised Sepang Permai Catchment Area for mixed development in Sepang, Selangor,” it said. — BERNAMA
