Ekuinas gets RM600mil funds from govt 

KUALA LUMPUR: Ekuiti Nasional Bhd received additional funds of RM600mil from the government in 2011.

Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department, Tan Sri Nor Mohamed Yakcop said on Thursday the total funds received as of Dec 31, 2011 were RM1.1bil.

Ekuinas, established in September 2009, is a government-linked private equity fund management company that promotes equitable and sustainable bumiputera economic participation.
