Boat overturns off Taiwan, 7 Fishermen missing 

TAIPEI, March 28 — Seven crew members are missing after a Taiwanese fishing boat overturned in waters off Taiwan’s northeast coast, Xinhua news agency quoted local media on Wednesday.Contact with “Hsin Fu Ta No.168″ was lost after its Taiwanese skipper last called home on Sunday. It was found overturned and drifting on Monday.

Besides the Taiwanese skipper, four fisherman from the Chinese mainland and two others from Indonesia were on the vessel at the time of the accident.Rescuers believe the ship was caught in heavy wind and waves when returning to shore.

A rescue operation team has been sent to sea but no one has been found so far.
